Celebrating Three Years of ASI North America

We are delighted to announce that ASI North America (ASI NA) is celebrating its third anniversary.

Over the years, our company has grown and evolved, but our commitment to excellence and sustainability remains unwavering. We have achieved important milestones in our mission to uphold the highest standards of accreditation and quality assurance.

Highlights from the ASI NA Journey

ASI NA initiated its accreditation procedures in late 2021 and issued its first accreditation certificate just a year later, in December 2022. As of today, 29 certification organizations have been accredited by ASI NA for three main certification schemes (i.e., FSC, MSC, and RSPO), ensuring they meet the most rigorous standards required for excellence.

Our Accreditation Manager, Hubert de Bonafos, shares his insights: “The development, establishment and implementation of ASI’s Two Tier Assurance program has been a significant challenge. However, with a step by step approach to implementation and persistent effort, ASI NA has successfully launched a new accreditation program. Moreover, the establishment of ASI NA’s office marks a key achievement for ASI in the global development of its accreditation and assurance services”.

Building on three successful years, ASI NA is poised for continued growth and remains committed to advancing sustainability standards. “Today marks the third anniversary of ASI NA, a significant milestone in ASI GmbH’s commitment to fostering credibility and integrity in sustainability initiatives and deepening the engagement with customers and stakeholders within North America and Latin America. Since its establishment, ASI NA and ASI GmbH have been dedicated to advancing its mission of providing top-tier assurance services worldwide. Since 2021, ASI NA has been serving as an international accreditation body, empowering sustainability standards and initiatives to stand out as champions of positive environmental and social change. As we celebrate this achievement, we look forward to continuing to drive impactful change, building stronger partnerships, and enhancing the sustainability landscape for a better future,” stated Tyler Mahn Jones, our new General Manager.
