Česká společnost pro jakost, z.s. voluntarily withdraws its FSC COC accreditation
Česká společnost pro jakost, z.s.(CSQ) has notified ASI that they are voluntarily withdrawing their accreditation for FSC COC.
Česká společnost pro jakost, z.s. has officially notified ASI NA on 26 June 2026 about their decision to voluntarily withdraw from FSC accreditation. ASI NA has accepted the decision, and the withdrawal will be effective on 01 November 2026. To facilitate the transfer of certificate holders (CHs) following the effective date, a transition period will be in place and will end on 1 May 2027. CHs may transfer their certificates to a new Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) at any point, up to 1 May 2027.
During the transition period, Česká společnost pro jakost, z.s. is working with ASI NA to provide any information and support to its clients in making the certificate transfers.
Selecting a new CAB
CHs are encouraged to promptly identify and select a new CAB to facilitate the seamless transfer of their certificates. To assist with this process, a list of available CABs is available here.
Risk of certification expiry
Please note that failing to take action within the stipulated transition period may result in certificate expiration. Such expiration could have operational and compliance implications for the CH within the framework of FSC COC standards. ASI NA may extend the transition period for justified reasons (e.g., reasons beyond the CH’s control).
